The Thanks...
I have so many people to thank I hardly know where to begin. I first need
to thank my sister Cathy, who was truly the driving force behind this
project. Although it was stressful, it all turned out well! I must also
thank Doug Jackson for his generosity in allowing us to invade his home
for ten hours, and for all of his hard work. Thanks to Ryan for a great
guitar track on "Carefree Day". Thanks also to Mom & Dad, for being my
biggest supporters in this. Many thanks also to Justin Jackson, for his
patience as I ranted and raved here at school. Thanks as well to all those
who have inspired any song that I might have written. And last but not
least, thanks to Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, my best friends
in the entire world, for the grace to carry out this project. Thanks!
The Story...
It all started in the summer of 2002. My sister decided to record a musical
album for her senior project, so she contacted me and Doug Jackson to get
everything together. Indeed, it was a lot of hard work, and a lot of heavy
and frantic emailing, since I was 300 miles away at the time. Finally, it
all came together on Nov. 1, as we all spent many hours that weekend
recording this thing. It all worked out well, and so here is the result of
our planning, creativity, and ingenuity! I hope you enjoy this CD as much
as I've enjoyed recording it.
